PONGAL CELEBRATION - 2026          The Pongal Celebration Day was held on 13th January 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with kolam (Rangoli), sugarcane, flowers, and traditional motifs, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted the essence of Tamil culture and the harvest season. One of the main highlight of the program was the Vallikkummi dance performed by the girl students. The dancers dressed in traditional costumes, rhythmically clapped their hands while singing traditional folk songs. The graceful movements and energetic performance beautifully showcased Tamil folk culture and received loud applause from the audience.
