Medical Camp

KMCH hospital conducted Free medical Camp in Sri Ravi Ram kalyana mandabam on 19/06/22, karamadai, students of United college of Medical Sciences participated in this camp,it is considered as a life-saving program that aims to provide free medical and surgical services to poor communities living in rural or urban areas by a mobile team with varieties of medical specialized services. More than 500 peoples utilized this modalities and this medical camp brought awareness and knowledge about the diseases they suffered from.                                          

International yoga day

The students of United college of medical sciences celebrated international yoga day at UEI campus on 21st March 2022 by getting together & performing various yoga Asanas, Pyramid & exercises. Even though it was a short session each students became one with themselves & managed to find connection between their mind, soul and body.                                                                                               

Student Welfare Association

The student welfare association plans and coordinates various activities for the overall personality development of the students and grooms them as good citizens of the Nation. The student board members of Student Welfare Association for the academic year 2021-2022 were selected by voting process. The various posts for election were Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The United College of Medical Science students of all the year and faculties have casted their votes. The following students were elected as the SWA member for the academic year 2021-20221) Vice-president - Abishek Aji (B.Optom III year)2) Secretary - Abinesh (B.Sc OT&AT II year)3) Treasurer - Safvana

Clinical Training Program

United College of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore organized a “clinical training program” on March 19th 2022 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm at Senthil Hospital LLP, Coimbatore. Mr.Antony Colombus, ECE,  Riya Medical Systems, Coimbatore, was the speaker and trainer who gave hands-on training about “Techniques of X-ray imaging”. 1st year B.Sc (RIT) and 2 nd year B.Sc (RIT) department students have attended the training program. Students have gained extensive practical knowledge by the end of this session.

Freshers Day Celebration - 2022

United College of Medical Sciences organized Fresher's day Programme on June 2nd for 3rd batch of AHS students..The very purpose of Freshers Day party is to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and avoid social evils, to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence.It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. The freshers day programme made brighten with lighting of the lamp by Principal & students,Principal introduced batch name (Troizeanz)to new comers... Freshers introduction with showing their talents through games,singing,dance etc... To the freshers followed by colorful cultural events

National EMT Day Celebration

On account of National EMT Day Celebration , Students of B.Sc Accident and Emergency Care Technology from the  United College of Medical Sciences have performed a realistic mock drill to the various students of United Educational Institutions, this event describes the Importance of CPR in saving the lives.On this auspicious occasion our Chairman Er. Shanmugam, Director Dr.Sivakumar, Vice principal UCMS Dr.D. Ruby Anitha and all principals of United Educational Institutions participated and made this celebration even more fabulous . 

World Optometry Day

March 23rd is Celebrated as WORLD OPTOMETRY DAY throughout the Globe. On the note of that, Faculty from Department of Optometry , United college of Medical Sciences, created awareness on Eye donation to Pharmacy and Medical Sciences student. Almost 200 students got a brief insight about the Eye donation and it's uses. And also cleared various doubts student asked asked about it. 

World glaucoma awareness week

On this week Optometry students of United College of Medical sciences, created awareness pamphlets and posters about glaucoma and its pathological changes in eye and its important of regular eye examination to prevent glaucoma to the college students and teachers in United Educational Institutional. By the end of the week, students created awareness by actively participating in FLASH MOB at the United Educational Institutional campus in front of various department students and faculties. By this program many came to know about the Blind full diseases GLAUCOMA and gained a good knowledge about it.
